"Jeanne's Gallery"

Jeanne is an artist that has made the transition from creating clay vessels to creating bead and fiber art. She is currently working on a series of Spirit Dolls. Jeanne has exhibited her work at Gallery 9, Ecco Gallery, the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, the ArtWalk, and the Golden State Sculpture Associations Annual Show. She has participated in the Myths & Folk Tales: The 2nd International Miyuki Delica Challenge where her beaded goddess, Brighid, was selected and photographed for the book. “Brighid” was chosen to travel to the 2000 Bead and Embellishment Show in Portland, OR to be viewed with all the other winners of the Challenge. “Meeting people on a daily basis constantly teaches me more about who I am and how I live my life. It is their stories and life experiences that influence my work. They are the teachers that make a difference, whether it is a child or an adult. To be truly awake and be willing to learn the lesson is a choice I have made in living my life. It is this philosophy that has enriched my life.” Jeanne resides in Thousand Oaks, California with her family.
