Time is of the Es*Sense is a company created from a
friendship based upon respect and support. This friendship
honors our true gifts and encourages us to discover what
we have brought into this Life. As our friendship has
grown, we have shared many major milestones together. In
celebration of our fortieth birthdays and to honor the
completion of academic and career milestones, we decided
to take a trip to Ireland. This journey was also an
opportunity to reconnect with our ancestral roots. What we
brought back from our trip was far more than just a
shamrock or severe sleep deprivation it was an entirely
new outlook on life. We learned to be fully awake within
the moment; we learned that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE.

Jeanne is an artist that has made the transition
from creating clay vessels to creating bead and fiber art.
She is currently working on a series of Spirit Dolls.
Jeanne has exhibited her work at Gallery 9, Ecco Gallery,
the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, the ArtWalk, and the
Golden State Sculpture Associations Annual Show. She has
participated in the Myths & Folk Tales: The 2nd
International Miyuki Delica Challenge where her beaded
goddess, Brighid, was selected and photographed for the
book. “Brighid” was chosen to travel to the 2000 Bead
and Embellishment Show in Portland, OR to be viewed with
all the other winners of the Challenge. “Meeting people
on a daily basis constantly teaches me more about who I am
and how I live my life. It is their stories and life
experiences that influence my work. They are the teachers
that make a difference, whether it is a child or an adult.
To be truly awake and be willing to learn the lesson is a
choice I have made in living my life. It is this
philosophy that has enriched my life.” Jeanne resides in
Thousand Oaks, California with her family.

Catherine is an accomplished vocalist and musician
and also resides in Thousand Oaks. She is a member of
Madrigali, an a cappella vocal group. She has performed
locally in various choral groups and with the Cabrillo
Music Theatre. Catherine holds degrees in biology,
chemistry, and music, dabbles in photography, computer
graphics, gardening, and hiking the local mountains. She
was a former custom framer and was a member of The
Creative Hand, an artisan’s cooperative in Pennsylvania.
As the mother of two teenagers, Catherine also qualifies
for part-time chauffer status. “Life is about accepting
responsibility for your own actions. Life is about choice.
Where you wind up depends upon where you set your sights.
Choose. Choose to savor the treasure of a normal day.
Choose to wonder, choose to marvel. Choose to seek that
which brings you balance. As I once read, “…think
deeply, speak gently, love much, laugh often, work hard,
give freely and be kind.”
We encourage you to reconnect with your inner self and
regain balance through the gathering and weaving of your
senses. Our unique line of self-awareness products are
designed with that thought in mind. Seek moments to regain
perspective and balance and take time, then, with full
intent, to become the future you wish to create. Thread
each moment, one by one, like beads on a string and weave
the necklace of your destiny. Create your circle of life.
